About the role: The Desktop Support comprises numerous areas including but not limited to: Desktop Support services, printing and scanning services. The Senior Desktop Support reports to Manager of Client Services.
Expectations/ Requirements
· Educational qualification: Any full time graduate.
· Desktop support Engineer with 1-4 years of experience Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot all windows Families (Wi 8/10). Familiar with Mac and Ubuntu OS. Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for printers, laptop, and computer hardware. Performs general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops and printers.
· Customize desktop hardware to meet user specifications and site standards. Performs work in compliance within specified warranty requirements.
· Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems and standards. ITIL process Knowledge.
· Working knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP and remote control tools. Able to operate within customer standard operating procedures.
· Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs.
· Customer-oriented attitude. Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
· Good communication (both verbal and written) skills and excellent phone manner. Knowledge of all software applications used within the organization.
· Professional image and grooming. Self-confidence and interpersonal skills.
· Analytical and problem solving skills.
