Job Description

Position Overview: As an IT/ITES (Information Technology/Information Technology Enabled Services) apprentice, you will work closely with experienced professionals in the IT/ITES industry to gain practical skills and knowledge in various areas of technology and business processes. This apprenticeship program provides you with the opportunity to learn and contribute to real-world projects, develop technical expertise, and acquire valuable work experience in the IT/ITES sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learning and Training: Engage in comprehensive training programs designed to enhance your technical skills, industry knowledge, and familiarity with IT/ITES processes and systems.
  • Support and Assistance: Assist senior IT/ITES professionals in executing various tasks and projects, such as system administration, data management, technical support and process improvement.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical issues , other IT-related problems that may arise.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficient knowledge sharing and future reference.
  • Data Management: Support data analysis, data entry, data cleansing, and data validation tasks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Customer Support: Interact with internal or external customers to provide technical support, troubleshoot software or hardware issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Adherence to Policies and Standards: Comply with organizational policies, security protocols, and industry best practices to safeguard sensitive information and maintain data privacy.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and advancements in the IT/ITES sector through continuous learning and self-development.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, software applications, and programming concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive and collaborative approach.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry practices.
  • Familiarity with programming languages, databases, operating systems, or specific software tools is a plus.
