Job Description
We’re seeking a talented and motivated Associate Software Engineer to join our growing team working with big data technologies. This position is ideal for recent graduates with a passion for problem-solving and interest in data engineering and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions for big data processing and analytics
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Java and/or Python
- Build and optimize data pipelines using Databricks and Spark
- Implement and enhance data transformation and integration processes
- Debug and resolve technical issues in development and production environments
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement solutions
- Assist in performance tuning and optimization of existing applications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
- Ability to work independently and take initiative on projects
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and concepts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to collaborate in a team environment
Preferred Technical Skills
- Experience with Java and/or Python programming
- Familiarity with big data concepts
- Knowledge of Databricks, Apache Spark
- Understanding of XSLT
- Experience with data structures and algorithms
