Job Description :
- IT professional delivering remote technical expertise in support of specific Alcon Lab applications for the R&D, MTO and QA groups
- Participate in solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and maintenance of Alcon Lab applications
- Program, implement, and test collection of new modifications and standard functionalities
- Debug and resolve a variety of issues (bugs, performance, and user) by reading through trace files
- Write technical design documents, solution summaries, operating procedures, change controls and manuals
- Develop utilities, procedures, and documentation
- Maintain application release control (version control)
- Support application installations and upgrades, including third party integration and hardware configuration
- Ensure the overall user experience is considered when designing and deploying new solutions and services
- Ensure consistency and traceability between user requirements, functional specifications, and testing & validation. Support validation and testing (IQ, OQ, PQ, UAT…)
- Support end user training
- Keep abreast with internal IT systems and documentation requirements, standards (including quality management and IT security)
- Keep abreast with industry best practices in leveraging technologies for the business and with regulatory environments/requirements if applicable
- Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Service Delivery scope
Support operations and ad-hoc requests and research
Minimimum Requirements
Education:
- BS/BA or equivalent experience in data science, computer science/programming, or related field.

- 0-3 years’ experience
- Experience in identifying and troubleshooting Lab applications and instrument connectivity is preferred.
- Proven experience in life cycle application development with the ability to generate application development policies, standards and procedures
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems and applications
- Experience with validation of GxP applications
- Experience in regulated industry (Medical device) preferred
