Job Description :
What you will be doing
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data engineering, such as SQL, Python, Scala, R
- Familiarity with big data technologies and concepts, such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
- Understanding of data modeling and database design principles
- Experience with building ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines and data integration processes is a plus
- Knowledge or awareness of Azure DataBricks technologies such as Lakehouse and Unity Catalog is a plus
- Knowledge or awareness of AI/ML or Gen AI is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot data-related issues
- Passion to learn and collaborate with a global workforce
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (candidates pursuing final year of graduation may also be considered).
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to troubleshoot complex problems efficiently.
- Basic understanding of programming languages such as Java/C++, HTML/CSS or scripting languages like Python is preferred.
- Familiarity with database management systems (SQL/MySQL) would be advantageous.
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and tools.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of operating systems like Windows/Linux will be beneficial.
