CGI Job Description:
Should have hands on experience in , any hardware and software issues like switch issues, router issues LAN wan connectivity issues ,Troubleshoot Network Outages and Understand NW Logs ,Working knowledge of Small, Medium or Large Scale NW Switches etc.
- Good knowledge -on experience with Linux Server Configuration, Firewall Setup, VPN Setup, LAN, WLAN. (Mandatory).
- Experience in LAN (Switching), WAN (Routing).
- VTP ,Spanning tree, STP
Concept of DNS and DHCP
Good in tools – Solar wind, PRTG, Whatsup gold, HPNA
Basic understanding of UPS
Responsible for the planning of the roll-out process and sequence of new systems and platforms
Must also prepare standard instructions and Checklists for installation of packages.
Should be customer centric.
Providing a positive image of the company through your role being a point of contact with onshore team/customer
To ensure that all is work carried out in accordance with ITIL Incident Management guidelines
Should be able to follow the ticketing process according to the change request phases that are defined.
Add value to your team environment by being enthusiastic and maintaining a Positive attitude.
To achieve all team and personal performance goals as defined by the company
Ensure tickets assigned to the queue are accepted and worked on time
