Job Title – Software Engineer 1 – QA Automation Engineer

Job Location : Bangalore

Expected Salary : 10-20 LPA

Experience : Freshers/0-1 Years

Qualification : BE/B.Tech,MCA,BSC,MTech or Related

Job Description :

• Plan and prioritize testing activities.
• Coordinate with the Design team to discuss verification protocols.
• Identify weaknesses and problem areas in the software application.
• Suggest automated software test procedures, including the use of the Karate framework and Gherkin language.
• Track software bugs and investigate their causes.
• Prepare automation scripts using the Karate framework.
• Troubleshoot automation software issues.
• Create test plans and cases, incorporating Gherkin syntax for readability and ease of use.
• Prepare detailed test reports.
• Prioritize and execute tests.
• Review technical specifications and design documents.
• Conduct regression testing when needed.
• Monitor assurance metrics and process results.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
• Previous experience working as a QA automation engineer.
• Advanced programming skills, including automation systems and databases.
• Familiarity with programming script languages, including Java.
• Experience with the Karate framework and Gherkin language is a significant advantage.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.
