As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the Client SW Strategic Products to Create/Build/Strengthen its Industry First Solutions that involves System Health & its Diagnostics/Telemetry product Intelligence across its CPG Serviceability SW Stack encompassing: Pre-Boot, Recovery OS and Windows OS based Environments. This is in collaboration with several Internal & External stakeholders including Dell Eco-system Partners, Services/Repair/Factory, IPS, Marketing, 3rd Party teams.
- You will work with set of best brains inside Dell as well as in the industry SMEs in leading the next generation Client PCs powered with Al & its client SW products that gives World Class Customer Experience.
- Responsible for Product Design and Development, Innovation/Patentable Idea/Product TTM towards Next Gen Client Commercial/Consumer platforms.
- Responsible for Development, Debugging and Enhance existing features and functionality in OS based Diagnostics and Telemetry products and its underlying Client Platform UEFI FW related products.
- Responsible for Agile based Development and its World Class Quality Metrics.
Essential Requirements
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience in Software Development of Windows OS based SW product(s) using Windows .NET/C#/C++ solid programming & Debugging skills.
- Hands-on experience in Problem Solving & Agile based Development of Platform Software comprising of one or more areas such as System Health Management, Intelligent Diagnostics, Telemetry & Data Analytics towards Client PC platforms.
- Good knowledge of Windows Internals & its Security, WMI/ACPI, MFC, WCF, WPF, PC architecture, Intel/AMD processor architecture(x64) and ARM64 Architecture, Industry standards that affect Client Server Architecture, Hybrid Cloud support, SW Ux/ Performance/Security/Inter-operability.
