We’re looking for a Software Engineer candidate with experience in Java to join our team in Bangalore Location.
You will report to the Sr. Development Manager
You will aspire to achieve challenging goals as part of your career objective. We are looking to hire a Software Engineer for the On-Prem Team, Informatica.
Your Role Responsibilities? Here’s What You’ll Do
- Develop new product features. You will enhance/develop features for On-Prem Informatica products.
- Write high-quality code using your in-depth knowledge of Java, object-oriented concepts, algorithms, and data structures.
- Collaborate with peer engineers, and architects spanning their respective areas to deliver end-to-end components and features.
- Handling customer escalations that are routed to R&D from Global customer support (would require you to re-prioritize your tasks )
- Gather and interpret broad requirement specifications from customers/Product Management that are not yet defined.
- Produce techno-functional specs and designs based on high-level requirements.
- Estimate efforts, identify risks, and meet project schedules.
- Be a performer and team player who enjoys challenging assignments in a fast-growing distributed workplace
- Work in an Agile software development team delivering product and feature increments in short iterations
Role Essentials
- BS/MCA/ in Computer Science or related fields.
- 1+ years of experience developing enterprise products
- Excellent coding and design skills in Java server-side technologies
- Experience with Eclipse, Maven, Linux, and Tomcat is mandatory
- Experience with Object-oriented design and programming, troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with the Agile development process
