Job Description:
Under general guidance, develops and executes test plans and scripts to confirm the quality and success of various technologies.
Manual and automated testing of applications and web resources works as specified; ensures a system performs adequately deployed platform.
- Good knowledge of SDLC, STLC processes, and testing concepts.
- Good Knowledge in Understanding Business Requirements Document, Functional Requirements Document and Software Requirement Specifications.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing skills.
- Knowledge of test planning, test case writing, and execution.
- Knowledge in testing every phase of the Function testing, Regression testing, Performance testing, Smoke testing, UI testing and User Acceptance testing.
- Good knowledge of defect tracking tools.
- Basic knowledge of writing SQL queries.
- Good knowledge of Agile methodology.
- Good communication skills.
Essential Functions
• Understand and review requirements, create test plan or contribute in test estimation, planning/strategy
• Responsible for test planning, test case authoring and execution for compliance products’ for client implementation projects
• Executing test iterations, defect tracking and reporting test results, troubleshooting and coordinating with team focusing defect resolution
• Work closely with Developers, Tech leads/managers, BA/Consultant and other project stakeholders throughout the SDLC
Qualification
• Computer Science – Branch any degree (BCA, MCA, BSC., MSC,BTech)
• Experience in testing 0-1 year
