Job Description :
The Apprentice Developer will work closely with members of the product team to learn and contribute to the design and development of world class loan datasets that support the automation of leveraged loan processes. This includes assisting with the implementation of software specifications, participating in code reviews, and learning software development best practices throughout the production life cycle. The apprentice will support the team in maintaining existing operational products and contribute to new features under the guidance of senior developers.
Key responsibilities include:
• Assist in transforming business requirements into technical solutions that support the leveraged loan industry
• Learn and contribute to cloud-based application development and maintenance
• Support the development of data mastering systems for the syndicated loan market
• Write and maintain code in programming languages such as C# while following established coding standards and best practices
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Work collaboratively with developers, business analysts, and other team members to understand requirements and deliver quality solutions
• Learn and apply software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles including requirements analysis, design, testing, and deployment
• Document code, processes, and technical specifications as required
• Participate in knowledge sharing sessions and continuous learning activities
