Job Description | Walmart Data Analyst
- What you’ll do:
- Label and annotate various types of dataset (image,audio,video & text) accurately and efficiently into the database
- Ensure labelled/annotated dataset is consistent and adheres to the specified guidelines of the task and meet effectiveness and efficiency standards.
- Collaborate with Data Scientist, Project Managers to understand the labelling/annotation requirements.
- Perform peer review of the task on labelled dataset to ensure quality, accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and report any labelling issues or inconsistencies to the team members
- Follow data security and privacy protocols to maintain the confidentiality of the data.
- Calibrate on the doubts of the assigned task and reduce variance for the overall task Report daily & weekly progress to the project manager and participate in regular meetings.
- Contribute towards continual improvement and innovation to support operations The candidate must be able to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic production environment.
- Work closely with process experts and client resources to analyze and design solutions based on business requirements
- Programming/software development background would have an added advantage Good understanding of supply chain business, excellent communication skill and ability to work proactively in a fast paced environment
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and business stakeholders
- What you’ll bring:
- 0-1.5 years of experience, working in data annotation and labelling operations
- Knowledge of different types of dataset and demonstrate labelling & annotation experience
- Detail oriented and able to work on multiple streams giving attention to each data element
- Makes decisions quickly with limited information
