Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented fresh graduate to join our Engineering team as an Associate QA Engineer. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by actively contributing to manual and automated testing efforts. This position offers hands-on experience with enterprise applications, exposure to Agile practices, and a strong foundation for a career in Quality Assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test cases for functional, regresson, and integration testing
- Identify, document, and track software defects using test management tools
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure quality standards are met
- Contribute to test automation and backend validation efforts
- Analyze logs and APIs to troubleshoot and verify backend workflows
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Required Skills:
- Good understanding of software testing principles and lifecycle
- Exposure to SQL and backend validation techniques
- Familiarity with test case creation, bug tracking, and tools like Azure DevOps or Jira
- Willingness to learn automation tools and scripting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Graduated in 2024 or graduating in 2025)
- Internship or academic project experience in QA or development is a plus
