Job Description :
QAD has an open position in its India-based R&D group for a Graduate Trainee. This group is responsible for the development and release of an enterprise cloud solution with a global customer base.
You will be a member of an agile scrum team with team members based in India, Ireland, and Spain. You will work on an Angular 13 front-end application, and a Spring-boot microservices-based backend, using a MariaDB database.
You will be mentored by experienced Senior and Principal engineers on the team.
What you’ll need:
- Familiarity with Java software development
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with a modern Javascript framework (e.g. Angular, ReactJS, VueJS)
- Familiarity with Relational Databases
- Familiarity with writing unit tests and testable components
- Familiarity with modern Source Control strategies
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills. Able to read existing code, enhance and refactor
- BSc. Computer Science or equivalent
